La communauté roboticienne française aura le plaisir de se rassembler en Sologne du 04 au 06 novembre 2009 au cours des 7ème Journées Nationales de la Recherche en Robotique. Cette biennale qui s’adresse à tous les acteurs de la robotique, chercheurs et doctorants, industriels et utilisateurs, est l’occasion, dans une ambiance conviviale, de mener des réflexions scientifiques et de débattre sur les avancées des recherches nationales et internationales de certains domaines fondamentaux de la robotique qu’ils s’agissent d’aspects théoriques ou applicatifs.
Du jeudi 19 au samedi 21 novembre 2009 aura lieu la troisième édition du Salon des services à
la personne à Paris, Porte de Versailles. Ce rendez-vous des professionnels et des particuliers vise à
dynamiser et à valoriser ce secteur, mais aussi à clarifier l’offre auprès du grand public et à le
renseigner sur ses droits et ses obligations.
Le salon réunira lors de cet événement national tous les acteurs du secteur. Il focalisera l’attention
de tous sur les services à la personne et présentera la richesse de l’offre.
Afin de représenter tout le secteur, le salon se partagera en deux grands espaces : un espace
destiné au grand public et un espace accueillant les professionnels du secteur.
L'Association Francophone d'Interaction Homme-Machine, en collaboration avec les équipes de chercheurs et industriels de Grenoble, vous donne rendez-vous à IHM'09, la 21ème Conférence Francophone sur l'Interaction Homme-Machine. IHM'09 a choisi de mettre les doctorants au cœur de la manifestation et de favoriser les échanges lors d'une session-phare,« la nuit des démos », où seront présentés les démonstrations, tous les posters, vidéos et autres surprises.
The 14th IASTED International Conference on Robotics and Applications (RA 2009) will be an international forum for researchers and practitioners interested in the advances in robotics, telematics and the broad range of its applications. Specific emphasis will also be placed on telerobotics, which receives increasing attention due to the tremendous progress in telecommunication and data processing technologies. Applications of telematics are widely diversified and interact strongly with telerobotics. Telematics methods offer, in addition, interesting cross fertilization potential with the accompanying conference on telehealth technologies. In the frame of RA 2009, different aspects of robotics will be addressed – including the point of view of developers and researchers from university and industry as well as the aspect of business applications. It is an opportunity to present and observe the latest research results and ideas in the areas of:

The Eleventh International Conference on Multimodal Interfaces and the Sixth Workshop on Machine Learning for Multimodal Interaction was held jointly at the MIT Media Lab, widely known for its innovative spirit. Organized in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA, ICMI-MLMI 09 provided an excellent setting for brainstorming and sharing the latest advances in multimodal interaction, systems and methods in an inspired setting of a city, known as one of the top historical, technological and scientific centers of the US.

The 2009 IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS) will be held at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis Riverfront at St. Louis, Missouri, USA, from October 11 to 15, 2009. St. Louis is known as the "Gateway City", as it is seen as the Eastern/Western US dividing mark. It’s also called "Gateway to the West" on behalf of the many people who migrated west through St. Louis via the Missouri River. The 6th International Conference on Ubiquitous Robots and Ambient Intelligence (URAI 2009), hosted by Korea Robot Society (KROS) . After the success of the inaugural conference, the purpose of the 2nd International Conference on Intelligent Robotics and Applications is to provide a venue where researchers, scientists, engineers and practitioners throughout the world can come together to present and discuss the latest achievement, future challenges and exciting applications of intelligent and autonomous robots.
In particular, the emphasis of this year's conference is on "Robot intelligence for achieving digital manufacturing and intelligent automations".
